The 148 antique stained glass windows in our historic church are more than treasured works of art. When the light shines through them, they become the story of salvation – reminding us that God chooses to shine forth into the world through the humanity of Jesus, Mary and men and women throughout the ages. However, time and the elements have taken their toll on these magnificent windows, which were painstakingly constructed in France, Germany and America. Most date back to the original 1857 church structure. If not repaired and restored in the immediate future, they will not survive to inspire future generations. The Legacy Campaign was created to raise adequate funds to complete the costly process of restoring and preserving our treasured windows, as well as to needed construction of new confessionals, Saints’ Shrines, a new narthex/baptistery space and heating/HVAC improvements.
Your help is vitally needed to bring this worthwhile campaign to light.
In donating, you will not only help to preserve and improve the magnificent treasures of our stained glass windows, but, like the windows themselves, your benevolence will serve as inspiration for generations to come.
In addition to the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped to preserve our church and our legacy, we are pleased to recognize our larger donors with outstanding benefits, depending upon the level of giving:
With your help, we can create a brighter future for our church and our parishoners. Every donation is vital to the success of the Legacy Campaign, so please give generously. All donations are tax-deductible as provided for by law and will be acknowledged in writing. In light of your generosity, we humbly thank you.
